Tonight I riveted the 3 doublers to the l/r rear spars. It takes time to review the plans as to which size rivets to use, and where the rivets go and don't go. To help make sure you don't make mistakes, it's a good idea to tape off the rivet holes/clecos that do not get a rivet. In the first picture below, you can see the blue tape marking the 5 ribs, etc. A shout out to my San Antonio buddy, Roger who provided a sanity check...Thanks mate!
The build session was a good one - as I was squeezing the last rivet, Ked Zeppelin's "Kashmir" was winding down on the audio and it was good to be finished (finally) with page 7-2 and on to the wing ribs...yea, there's like 4,000 of those things... but progress is good!
