Tonight I worked on the aileron pushrod holes and final drilled the rear spar stiffeners. The pushrod holes were easy with the unibit in the drill press… I just kept moving the pad around until I got the oblong-ated 3 hole pattern drilled in. Of course, on the first one I left a little space between the final drill and the mark, so I had more smoothing to do with the scotch brite pad to get to the mark. On the second one, I just drilled right up to the line – did the smoothing and called it perfect! Then I clecoed the rear spar doublers on and final drilled them. Then I was done for the night.
