Today I was able to get the trim tab finished up. (Except for mounting the servo) There are not very many rivets in the trim tab but most of them are hard to get to...so it took a while. I was able to use the longeron yoke and squeeze all of the rivets - and not use any blind rivets. The bend tabs all get blind rivets (it’s the only way), but the rest were all solid - so I have that going for me.
In the end, I think the trim tab came out ok - I had thought I might need to redo the trim tab - but the elevator/trim tab gap ended up being parallel and I was able to set the gap at 9/64", when the minimum spec was for 3/32". I won't win any awards for it - it's kind of like your work truck - it ain’t pretty, but it gets the job done. Yeah, like that.
