Brief Description: Prep stiffeners / rivet them to rudder skin
Got some good work in while everyone was asleep this morning... continued the prep work by deburring the stiffeners and the skin holes, deburred the stiffener edges, and generally cleaned up the stiffener edges, washed the parts, and primed them. There is a lot of edge work and smoothing when dealing with the stiffeners (lots of aluminum dust), but stiffeners are the price you pay to get to back rivet! Then the dimpling happens... with the squeezer and the DRDT-2.
Primed the stiffeners, and then rivetted to the skin. On to the rudder substructure! Will stop here because it looks like there is some fabrication involved with the rudder substructure and I need to research up on that!!
