Today I put all the rear spar pieces back together and drilled the #12 holes in the elevator bushing to HS-609 reinf. Bar to HS-603 rear spar….After drilling 4 nice big holes, I noticed that the HS-609 marked, “bottom” was on the top and the HS-609 marked,“top” was on the bottom…NOOOOOO!!…. Are you kidding me!! Will call Van’s tomorrow and discuss alternatives – but for now, I will look up parts in catalog in case I have to reorder…then try to go to sleep!!!
