Brief Description:  Finish rear cockpit lights

Bob and I went over and visited Greg’s project in the morning. Greg is rounding turn four for the home stretch and he can see the finish line and today he was doing his useable fuel calculations on his four fuel tanks. He has two main and two aux tanks in each wing and he also flipped on the panel and we saw the glass panels light up. Pretty neat stuff. Back at the home shop, we continued the work on getting Teresa’s rear cockpit lights installed. Then it was a matter of soldering some connections to the strip lights, installing the lights in place, wiring up the controller, the dimmer, and the pos/neg light wires. Then a flip of the switch and Presto, there was light.

I still need to tie up the loose wires with black lacing cord, but that will be done when all the wire runs have been made, so for now, they will just hang there.

Now it's time to go pop the champagne as I just passed the 2,000 hour build mark. On second thought, I would rather just finish the airplane and then go flying :)
