Brief Description: Beginning the Electrical install
The electrical install began today with the ground power adapter plug officially becoming the first electrical infrastructure part to be installed. I followed Rob’s lead on both the ground power unit and the ground power plug, which made it easy, thanks Rob. I still need to go thru the wiring diagram and finish out the wire detail list but will likely do this in conjunction with the wiring buildout. Last thing we got done in today’s session was to decide on the desired location of the ground block and the fuse panels. The fuse panels were fairly easy as Rob had already worked out a great spot on the access door – so I copied that. The panel ground block took some pro and con discussion as to orientation and location. Again, things that are VERY accessible today will not be as accessible when the front top skin is riveted on and that has to be considered. The last thing I did was install the fuse blocks on the access door and since the JB Weld was dry on the smoke oil pump, I dropped the tank in the deep well and took a look at the fit and finish. All good.
