Brief Description: Measuring and marking canopy center
I marked the approximate center on the front and rear of the canopy and on the aft canopy frame bow of the fuselage. I will only be trimming off the bottom few inches of the canopy so there really isn’t a need to draw the centerline all the way up and over the entire canopy – besides, it is pretty squirrely to measure the rounded surface. I will make a centerline on the upper front of the canopy as well as the front canopy support bow on the fuselage so as to be able to align the canopy back in the same orientation after each cut/sand. Those marks don’t have to be exactly in the center, but they will establish the alignment so I just need them to be aligned.
