I started working on the gear fairings in earnest - cutting both Rocket fairings down from their largest side to the Van's specified length. From there, it was a dance, using the cleco clamps on the ends of the fairing to hold the piano hinge in place to where the fairing "clamps" lightly on the landing gear legs. Since these Rocket fairings on the Grove gear are a modification, they do not fit precisely like Van's fairing on Van's gear, so I enlisted help from Rob to walk me thru how he set up his gear leg fairings as he has Grove/Rocket too. Expanding foam answers this question, and Rob was kind enough to take me thru his log with additional pictures and an expanded explanation. Thanks, Rob!
