With the stainless standoff done, I wanted to get the smoke oil manifold in place. Using the holes in the manifold as my guide, I drilled thru the backing plate and installed the nutplates. Then it was a matter of transferring the holes to the firewall. With that project done, I put a much-needed cleanup on the shop. I also replaced one bolt on the oil cooler fixture that was a smidge short.
