Brief Description:  ANL/Shunt standoff

I spent a long day in the shop but finished the standoff structure holding the two ANLs and shunts. As I mentioned, using the nutplates and raising the standoff structure by 0.625" will allow me to remove any individual ANL or Shunt, or I can detach the whole standoff with one hand. Using the 3D model as a guide for the dimensions, I drew the bend lines on the stainless steel sheet and then bent along the lines to provide the nutplate/screw clearance. I then measured and drilled the holes for the nutplate rivets and drilled, dimpled, and riveted the nutplates. I then drilled four holes thru the standoff "feet" and the firewall, starting with a #40 and working my way up to the 3/16" drill bit. The process took time, but I am very happy with the results.
