After much deliberation, cogitation, and consultation with Bob, I ran the Nav/Strobe wires from the wings to the panel. The additional thinking came about as I incorporated the pitot/static hoses that will be coming through the left wing into the fuselage and then will need to make their way into the aft panel area. These air hoses can ride along the path of the "noisy" nav/strobe wires with no problem. With this decision, I needed to open up additional bulkhead hole/conduit clearance, which always takes time - which means yesterday's hole was also enlarged as well as the panel side hole. I did get the three separate nav/strobe wires (3C-18AWG) from the panel area along the upper left rail, down along the channel above the spar, and under the armrest. The routing of the rear suntail light will follow this course to the aft end of the rudder tip. The two wingtip wires go down along the bulkhead to the fuse floor and out the left and right wing roots. The aft run just goes to the rear baggage compartment for now, as I have some other wires to run to the rudder. I also drilled the holes to run the nav/strobe wires under the control column thru two sets of ribs.
