Brief Description:  Help Bob out with his Panel Labels

My buddy Bob asked me to help him with his panel labels as a few of his water-slide type labels had been accidently removed with painter’s tape. Over the years Bob, has helped me out many, many times with all kinds of special parts and machine shop work. If Bob makes up a special piece part that he needs, he will typically ask me if I would like one too and of course, since I am a "me too" guy, he knocks out a two-for-nothing special and sends me one of the parts, with washers, nuts, bolts and drawings!! So yes, I was more than happy to jump in and help Bob with his panel labels!

One of the cool ideas Bob has incorporated into panel labels v2.0 is that he is going all out on color-coding of his labels. He is color separating the 3 types of curcuit breakers depending on which bus they are on. Not only color separating them, but also bordering each bus with the same color border. It was a little more work and will cost a little more at the print shop, but it came out awesome!

Over the course of a week or so, Bob would send me what he wanted the label to look like dimensionally, and I would work it up in PowerPoint and send him a file that he could print out and test fit on his panel. There was a little bit of slop in the PowerPoint "ruler" as there was only 12 increments of an inch so I had to do some conversions and on some of the smaller increments it took a few iterations, but in the end, it turned out real nice. I can't wait to see the finished product on Bob's panel!
