Brief Description:  Parking Brake Cable #5

I added one more standoff/adel clamp mount to the longeron on the left side of the cabin and I opened the area by the baggage floor to dissuade and chaffing on the parking brake cable. It took me two tries at making the standoff as I was not happy with the first try.

I also saw a tip on the EAA Hints for Homebuilders showing how to make standoffs using tubing in between the zip tie to keep wire, tubes, and lines from chaffing. I might go back and cover the metal tubing with some of the plastic tubing and enhance the anti-chafe properties - or maybe self-fusing tape would work too.
