More marking and cutting up poster board into 2D avionics replicas. It turns out there was a difference in what the GTN650 was showing for the cut dimension vs. what Bob was actually seeing – so we confirmed the new correct dimensions and I adjusted the 2D rendering. I also began thinking about the GTR20 remote radio vs. the GTR200 panel radio. I reached out to Garmin as I have the room for the panel mounted radio and they said that the functionality is the same between the two – and the advantage of having the panel mount is, since I have only one G3X screen, if my screen goes down – I don’t lose my radio. Decision made. The additional dollars are negligible – so it makes sense for me to go with the GTR200. I made the 2D box for it, now it's official.
