With the dimensions in hand, it is now time to render them in 2D poster board format so that I can move them around on the panel to determine proper spacing. Bob was nice enough to send me some of his 2D boxes, switches and lights so that helps – as well as a copy of his drawing. I decided that I wanted to incorporate both the cut dimension (needed for Bob to make the panel cut) and the bezel or outside dimension for me to determine spacing. I am marking the outside/bezel area on my 2D boxes in orange highlighter.
