On my lunch break today, I picked up some drawing supplies and then after work, I spent some more time marking the panel “no-zones”. The structure on the sides is .75” wide and across the top center bow is a soft 1”. I call it a soft 1” because as long as there is no nut plate in the way, I can encroach on the space around the top bow just a bit. So, now knowing my good panel real estate, I need to layout the boxes, switches, appliances and lights. I started moving the left clings down and to the left and then was able to get the 10” G3X main display moved to the left also. I can’t exactly get it in the center of the panel, but it is less than an inch off center, so that is good. I need to decide if I am happy with the vertical location or if I want to move it up some and cut into the “soft” area..
