Brief Description: Left Flap hinge drilling/install
Following the method that was used on the right flap - I used the cord to suspend the flap above the wing, holding it in place while I made the tiny adjustments to get the three sides in alignment. Flat across the trailing edge in line with the aileron trailing edge. 1/4" gap between aileron and flap and enough edge distance on the flap hinge. I could tell from the front side that I would have enough edge distance on the flap hinge - and did verify this with a measurement afterwards... all holes were at or larger than 3/16" from the center of the hole to the edge on the 3/32" rivets, so all good.
I finished up by removing the hinge pin and flap and every other cleco so that I could countersink the bottom skin on the flap hinge. Then I flipped the clecos to the countersunk holes and and countersunk the rest of the holes.
