Brief Description:  Replace Van's fuel gages with drink holder

It was a while ago that I decided that I would rather have a drink holder than the Van's fuel gages... now, please realize these were the backup, just-for-show fuel gages and the "real" actual gages were always going to be on my EFIS panel. So, removing the weight, complexity and wiring and replacing that with a plastic cup holder that will provide a place for my water bottle is a good trade, in my opinion.

First order of business was to drill the holes for the fuel selector valve since that is still going to reside on the mid cabin cover. Then, I spent some time figuring out if I just wanted to center it in front of the fuel selector valve or if it needed to be offset to the left or right and also whether to keep it aft of the gear tower in case I needed the room for push/pull cable actuator knobs. In the end, I drew the center hole where I determined was the absolute best place for the bottle of water to be and then clamped the left mid console to the flywheel cutter and cut the hole.
