Brief Description:  Rear cockpit lighting

Since we still had time and energy, we started work on the rear cockpit lighting. First things, first, we ran the wires for the rear cockpit lighting. The difference in the rear cockpit lighting is: it is the only lights that are separated (non-contiguous). There is one strip on the left rear and one strip on the right rear cockpit, so the wiring is different. One can either run the positive/negative wires in series, or parallel. In series, the wires run from the controller to the front side of the right light and then are run from back side of the right light strip and connect to the back of the left light to power the right and the left light in one single line of lights and wires. To wire them in parallel, a separate pos/neg wire is run from the controller to the right light and from the controller to the left light. This is the method we chose. The shortest wire run from for the left light strip was to go into the baggage area, up over the rear seater loop and over to the left light. However, I sure do not want to have loose wires in the baggage area that get caught/pulled when loading or unloading stuff. So, surplus brake line to the rescue! We glued the brake line over the rear seat loop using RTV… and then will run the wires thru the brake line from one side to the other. The install is secure and hidden from sight unless you are laying in the rear baggage area.
