Brief Description:  Rail gap sanding and filling

I opened the canopy to see the rough outline of the dried layup and then cleaned up all the wax paper. Initially, the canopy did not just pop up, it was stuck where a little of the resin mix contacted the bare rail. I eventually worked it loose after prying some plastic under the canopy skirt.

While the canopy was still on the fuse, I went thru and did another inspection of the whole canopy for smoothness...and sanded where needed. It's getting close to done...finally.

I pulled the canopy off and sanded down the aft end (top) to a smooth tail - then mixed up another batch of resin and balloons and put it beside and around the rail trough - as I am aiming to fill in the sides of the trough where there is still a small gap.
