Brief Description:  Wheel Assembly

Since Bob was in town, I figured it was a great time for him to teach me the art of installing tubes in tires and wheel assembly. We talced the inside of the tire and the tube was already talced so we first stuffed the tube into the tire, then slightly filled the tube so we could check/alleviate wrinkles and binding. We made sure to orient the air valve with the red dot - which is the light spot in the tire. Next, we assembled the wheel halves making sure that the tube did not bind. We assembled and tightened the nots/bolts and then torqued the bolts to 90 in./lbs. per the Grove wheel instructions. Bob did the first one while I looked on and then I did the second tire and before long - we were done. Then we filled up the tires and cycled thru a few inflate / deflate cycles as proscribed in the directions to flush out any trapped air.
