I started on the wingtip lights... The installation instructions for the AeroLED AeroSun Vx wingtip lights are very detailed - 40 pages worth. I started by pulling the wingtips down from garage storage and cleaning up the wingtips...there was a bit of dust on them but easy enough to clean up. I put the cut template on the wingtips and marked the drill hole, drilled to 1/8", clecoed the template back in, and drilled the second hole. Then I traced the cut lines on the template - removed the templates and cut the general hole out with the dremel blade, then sanded up to the witness line with the small dremel sanding drum. After the drum sanding, I sanded with a 100 grit sandpaper pad. Next, I started doing test fittings with the light. With the light at the preliminary fit - it is time to patiently sand to the final fit and after almost 3 hours of work, I am not feeling very patient...
