Brief Description:  Cut spacers for canopy frame

I am using the sikaflex method of adhering the canopy to the canopy frame as well as the front windshield to the front canopy bow. The alternate method is accomplished by drilling holes in the plexi and the canopy frame and riveting them together. I am choosing the sikaflex method because, in my opinion, there is less stress put on the canopy/plexi.

I cut pieces of 1" garden hose as a spacer so that the sikafex will have a gap to fill between the canopy and the canopy frame and that will be the glue that holds the canopy to the frame. The open gap space will yeild about 1/8" of sikaflex adhesive.

I also marked the centerline on the forward upper fuse and the 3 1/4" mark that is the general reference of where the front of the canopy will end up.
