Brief Description:  Ran conduit

My buddy Bob is in town and he had the good idea to run some conduit under the seating / aft baggage area before we rivet on the turtle deck – as afterwards the access is greatly inhibited. The seating and aft baggage are is also riveted on with blind rivets and the conduit makes it easy to run additional wire to the rear of the airplane when needed. Bob had the elegant solution to tie the conduit to the ribs under the baggage area with some of the strap ties we purchased as they are attached to the floor ribs with a #8 screw and then the conduit is held to the strap ties via a zip tie. We drilled and deburred the holes and mounted the strap ties to the ribs and then zip tied the conduit. It looks very nice- unfortunately I did not get a pic of that before we finished riveting the turtle deck…but if I can remember to snap a pic the next time I am “in the tunnel” then I will post it to this log. I did get a picture of the conduit laying under the seating area as that is still exposed. I will tie down that conduit at a later date as more things are installed and I can determine the best/final wire routing.
