Brief Description:  Drilling the WD-814 Windscreen support

I set the windscreen on the fuselage and there was about 1/2" gap between the left canopy rail and the windscreen support with the right side of the windscreen support snugged up against the right canopy rail. The geometry didn't look too good either, with the front supports and the angle of the bottom flange of the windscreen support...and the 4 initial bolts holes on the canopy rail insides, that were pre-drilled, didn't line up with the holes in the windscreen support. However, I followed the instructions and bolted the inside horizontal bolts (after lining the holes up with a punch and elbow grease) to the canopy rails - which magically pulled things together. The geometry looked great and the holes on the side where right where they needed to be!

I clamped down the windscreen support to the canopy rail and put some tape across the gap in the skin (it will be riveted later) and match drilled the windscreen support to the canopy rail. The holes were nicely centered on the longeron as shown in picture #2. After drilling all the holes, I removed the windscreen support and deburred the holes.

This part came out really nice.
