I had the VS set up in pretty good alignment when I left off yesterday - so It was a fairly quick exercise to get the three hinges in alignment vertically and then I made sure the lateral dimensions were within 1/32" and then double clamped the front spar to the front of the HS and drilled the spar and spacer. Then the four holes that were already drilled to #30 were final drilled to #12,
I unbolted the VS and HS and deburred all drilled holes as well as the spacers. I prepped the F-884 attach plate and the F-885 spacer for primer, cleaned the parts and then primed them. They will be ready to rivet next time. Glad to have all the critical holes drilled on the empennage attach process.
