I flew 1.0 hours last weekend with Pete @ Big Q Aviation. I met Pete and Carol when they visited the EAA Chapter 168 meeting late last year. This weekend I knocked out my flight review and did a few more landings (0.6 hours) so that Pete was comfortable signing me off on the Cub. It sounds pretty simple, but the weather was 190 @ 11, gusting to 24! It was interesting taxiing to the runway as the Cub kept wanting to weathervane into the wind, but once we got lined up - all was good. I soloed the Cub 18 years ago - 1 day... so it was a great feeling to get back in the air again.
Big Q also has a Pitts, a Great Lakes and some gliders - so I will have to extend my experience level :)
