Brief Description: Seat floors – back riveting stiffeners
I back-riveted some of the floor stiffeners onto the left (F-830-1) and right (F-831-1) seat floors. I like back riveting because it’s easy to replicate good results once the gun is dialed in. It shouldn’t have taken 2 hours but there is a lot of thinking to make sure that all of the stiffeners are returned to their original position. There is also a hinge that goes across the left and right seat floor overlap and a shim is placed under the hinge so that it is level. There are also keeper rivets under the hinge and I just wanted to work my way thru the orientation of all the pieces so that I understood what needed to be where.
Also pulled out the homemade fuel gauge panel and riveted it up.
