Brief Description:  finish installing the WD-823 seat back support

Last shop session I torqued all the vertical screws, I realized that I would not be able to tighten, much less torque the horizontal bolts/nut in both the aft/upper sides (see pic #1). Therefore, first thing was taking out the aft screws/nuts and torqueing the bolt/nuts - then I re-installed the screws and torqued them.

The last of the rivets were driven - at least two of them, I didn't have a bucking bar to buck the two under the support weldment so I cheated and used a CS4-4 blind rivet on those two - after cleating over the first try.

Some of my friends were in Oshkosh this week - I didn't get to go this year...hopefully I will be there again next year but it was good to get the weldment mounted. I went ahead and double checked all the nuts for proper torque. All good. The other milestone is - other than a few rivets I need help with another set of hands - I am officially at the "quick build" stage!
