Brief Description: Prep for riveting F-820-L/R-1 fwd side skins
Before installing F-820-L-1 & -R-1 Fwd Side Skins in this step I need to apply a 1/8" bead of tank sealant or fire barrier. I choose the 3M Fire Barrier 2000+ Silicon Seal for this job and applied a bead to the "corner" of the firewall flange (see pic #1). I then clecoed on the the left side skin and repeated the process on the right side. On pic #2 you can see the "After" view of the right skin clecoed and the fire barrier seal in between the firewall and side skin
