Brief Description: Preparing Fuse Parts for Final Assembly - 1
Now it's time to start the deburring, countersinking/dimpling and general prep on all those parts that just came off the fuselage - in preparation for those same parts to go back on the fuselage. It will take some time - so let's dig in.
First up - the lower longerons (F-843) get countersunk for the 1/8" holes (side or bottom) that are common with the front skin. This takes a thorough review of the drawings to make sure which holes get countersunk and which don't - then I do the same with the other side matching part and then move on.
I did likewise on the auxiliary longerons and then countersunk the common holes on the LG box plates. Time to go watch Texas football...
