Gently placed F 1095 Elevator Trim Actuator Sub- Assembly into the aft fuselage. Routed the Trim cables through the HS Inboard Nose Ribs then through the snap bushings in the HS Front Spar and HS Rear Spar, then through the Elevator Leading Edges, then through the snap bushings in the Elevator Rear Spar to the openings inbottoms of the elevators.
Kept moving cables through until elevator trim actuator sub-assembly was into position.
Attached Elevator Trim Actuator Sub- Assembly to the underside of F 1014 Fuselage Aft Deck with AN515-8R8 Screws. Drilled out rivets in WD-415 Elevator Trim Cable Anchor Brackets to make threading cable onto bracket easier. Clecoed bracket in place until final adjustment.
Threaded cable onto bracket as per instructions.
Ran Trim Servo to the Full Nose Up position.
Enlarged hole in each trim tab horn #12, Temporarily attached elevator trim cablesto elevator using the recommended hardware and orientation as described in the instructions in Step 3.
Adjusted the jam nut and clevis to get 35 degrees in the Tab Down position. Used a manual Angle Finder Level for basic position. Going to get a digital level soon.
Needed to adjust position of Trim cable on WD-415 to get proper degrees of Nose Down travel.
