Brief Description: Wing walk trailing edge filler blocks
After searching the shop for a viable and semi-accurate means to fabricate these blocks I ended up at Lowe's to continue my search! A couple of old timers with lots of woodworking experience recommended a table saw to make the bevel cut accurately. I came home with a craftsman 10" and proceeded to set it up and make some practice cuts on 2x4 scraps. A 15 deg angle was needed to form the "wedge" that would provide support at the trailing essentially making the last two inches of trailing edge solid. I had a nice piece of spruce from an ACS grab bag that worked nicely as the donor. The cuts went well with a 60T blade.
Paper thin at the trail to 5/8" at the forward edge.
