Made a stiff paper pattern from the instrument panel brackets detailed in the plans. Used .040 for these as they'll be supporting the engine oil tank through the firewall. In the future, I'll use layout fluid instead of a paper pattern. I tossed one of the original brackets as it was crooked after bending. I can make more accurate pieces that way. Fitted them up and held in position with the little puck magnets.
