Brief Description: Harness attach and crotch belt attach fittings
Fitted and welded the rear seat belt shoulder harness attachment gussets near station 135 upper longeron and diagonal intersection. Used .063 sheet as per 2wings mod drawing. Discovered linseed oil dripping from the 1/16 vent holes in the longerons. Interesting.
Drilled vent holes and welded 3/8 x 058 x 1" crotch harness bushings centered on the bottom of each seat frame's forward lateral tube.
Stripped primer from station 0 upper crosstube to prep for the 2 oil tank brackets installation. Bill's frame has them at 7" spacing centered on the tube laterally. I am planning to leave them undrilled until later in the build when I have an oil tank and brackets to match drill them.
