I like the idea of not having any visible fuses on my panel, so I am going the way of using fuse blocks (as in cars) and having switches only on my panel. I cut a piece of aluminium and riveted a hinge to this and then riveted it to inside panel rib. The idea of the hinge is so I can swing it down and change fuses if required. It is situated under the co pilots knees. I alodined and primed this piece as well. The fuse blocks are bolted down using 3/16" bolts and nyloc nuts. I decided to use a key latch to fasten the fuse blocks to the front of the panel. I didn't want something sticking down which a copilot may hit with their knees.
