Brief Description:  Throttle Quadrant

Still waiting for the Aussie dollar to climb back up to a respectable level so I can purchase the finish kit (at the moment 0.65 cents, in Sept it was around 0.95 cents)
Plenty to do till then, so I proceeded to mount my throttle quadrant. Cutting two lengths of angle I riveted platenuts on the inside so I could screw/unscrew the quadrant from the two angles, and riveted platenuts onto the panel ribs and front panel so I could also screw/unscrew these.
I cut some side pieces for the quadrant as I want to hide the cable, by dismantling the quadrant, traced the shape onto some flat and cut them out. Smoothing the edges. alodine, prime and paint in the same color as the panel, should look good. In fact my panel color is going to be the same as the interior, sort of blue/grey high gloss. Very happy with the outcome, also adds some stiffness to the panel and adjoining ribs.
