Brief Description:  Wings Fitted

OK Crunch time, I had to get the fuselage out of my shed at home to take to my empty work shed so I could fit the wings.
Once I had the fuselage within 0.1 of a degree I fitted the wings. I used a small amount of lanolin spray on the spar and wow it was fantastic, it slipped in very nice. I made a drift pin out of a bolt and then fitted two bolts to hold in place. These kits are made so perfect.
It really does look like an aeroplane now.
Dropped some plumb bob measurements along the front wings, using some masking tape on the ground I marked where the plumb set. I had about 1/4" forward sweep, so I had to take thew wings off again and remove around 1/8" off the rear spar on the wings. Fitted the wings again and now it is perfect, the outboard and inboard plumb bob measurements are in a perfect straight line.Did the same system at the rear and measured the markings from front to rear of the aircraft. Perfect, this plane is square. Gotta love the Van's pre punched and matched spar kits, makes life easy.
