While surfing the net I came across one builder who made little clips out of scrap aluminium to hold his static line along the longeron. I thought great idea, so taking some scrap approx 1/2" wide, I formed the shape by bending the strip around some scrap aluminium tubing which was slightly thicker than the plastic static line, drilling a hole in the top I riveted this in conjunction with the longeron and skin and used this to mount the tube. I will run a slight bit of silastic to avoid rubbing between the clip and the tube. Also drilled out the holes in the bulkheads and ribs where the static line is too run and fitted a rubber grommet, with silastic to hold these in place as well.
