Cut out the rudder stiffeners for the rudder, scotchbrite all the edges and make them as round and smooth as possible, corrosion proof. I have decided not to alodine the skins anymore as I had done on the horizontal and vertical, as the aluminium is already has a protective coating on them, and once primed and painted they will be protected from corrosion anyway. I will only corrosion proof and prime the skeletons. Once the stiffeners were done I back riveted these to the rudder skin. I like back riveting it makes for a very nice finish. Obviously I dimpled the skins before riveting.
