Cut some strips of aluminium and after alodining I glued them in place with high strength epoxy glue. Once glued I fitted them to the elevator tip and filled the gap between metal and fibreglass. I want the ends to be smooth and not be able to tell where fibreglass and the metal meet. I will fill in all the ends as well so counter weights look one piece as well. I'm not sure how much extra work this will make, time will tell if it has been worth it.
