The day has come. Couple of days before we tried starting but the plugs kept oiling up, I thought I had drained all the preservative oil out, but no. Undid the plug at the very bottom of the sump and approx 1 cup of oil came out, this is why the plugs were fouling. I tied the plane to the back of my car so it wouldn't move forward and made sure area was clear, PROP CLEAR, and hit the button. Yes it starts, ran the engine with cowls off for approx 15 minutes to check EGT and CHT came up, along with oil pressure, shut it down and checked everyting over, all good. Phew. A momentous day.
