Had a mike and headset label made, looks professioinal, drilled out my original mounting holes larger so there is no way the jacks will earth/bond to the airframe, riveted in the label between my seats and mounted the jacks. Ran the wires to the relay which connects to the fuse board from my master avionics switch, this way the board is only for avionics and the switch doesn't carry the load for all the avionics, just the relay and all avionics are protected by their own fuse rating.
