I purchased the 'Skybolt Fastener Kit' for my RV7A. What this means is the entire cowl is held together with the fasteners instead of piano hinge. So worked out my spacing, I only did the right side from centre top to start with, drilled the holes, deburred and countersunk the holes. Numbered each one so I could make sure they went back in the right spot. Cleaned them up with scotchbrite pad and did the whole deoxidine and alodine, rivet in spot. Repeated the left side and then the bottom.
