After finishing the inside of the canopy, I masking taped it all up again. While at the Narromine flyin, I had seen a few RV's with these cut angled pieces on the side of the canopy at the rear to help with sliding the canopy open from the outside. Great idea, so I made them up and riveted on before painting. Gave the outside a paint with my 2 pak white paint. Had a couple of runs in the first couple of coats, so sanded back a fraction and gave the canopy it's final coats, looks fantastic. I polished the inside and the outside plexy to get rid of fine scratches, sat it back on the fuselage. Yep looks great, very very happy with the result, the fibreglass skirts look great.
