Brief Description: Installation of Trim Servo to Servo Tray
With new parts from Vans redid the F-1287 servo tray with the F-1287J doublers. Deburred and primed parts then riveted the doubles to the tray with the LP4-3 rivets. Clamped the ends of the tray and doublers and then drilled and reamed holes to 0.250 per plans. Completed step 2 page 11-06. Clecoed the ES MSTS-T3-7A-2 pitch trim servo to the F-1287B doublers and F-1287A servo tray. Completed step 3 – match drilled #27 then removed and deburred. Completed step 4 installed pitch trim servo into F-1297A servo tray with doublers and hardware per Figure 2. Completed step 7 page 11-06 inserting the polymer bushings into the F-1287A servo tray per Figure 5. Completed step 8 for the F-1287A bushings filing them so their thickness was not greater than 1/8” per Figure 4. Completed step 1 page 11-07 – Installed servo wires throughSB187-2 snap bushing and installed bushing into F-1287A servo tray per Figure 2. Installed torque seal on the nuts holding the servo into the servo tray.
