Brief Description:  Prepration of Rudder Components

Had a few days away at my brothers in North Carolina attending the World Finals of Sprint cars, late models and big blocks on the Charlotte Motor Speedway Dirt Track. Had a great time but looking forward to continuing the slow build process. Decided to continue on to rudder parts as I need to wait until I can finish the two remaining nutplates on the main stabilizer vertical skin. Also need to complete internal skin preps and sand and prime the areas that were scratched with all of my trial fitting of the ribs. Once completed then the final installation of the skin can be done. Will wait until I have a warmer day to do priming of parts and have more time so that I don’t need to rush through the installation of the skin.
Completed steps 1-8 page 07-02. Made R-1204 spar caps, prepared R-1205 hinge brackets, positioned R-1204 spar caps on R-1202 spar and drilled #30 web and flange holes. Deburred spar caps.
