Removed rudder assembly from vertical fin to perform work installing the trim tab. Completed steps 1-6 page 7A-02
Step 1: Drilled out the aft most lower rivet on the left side of the rudder assembly #30 common to the R-01220 Trim Tab. Step 2: Clecoed the lower forward most hole in the trim tab to the hole drilled out in Step 1. Rotated the trim tab until the forward edge is vertical. Step 3: Match-Drilled #30 and clecoed the remaining holes in the trim tab into the Rudder Assembly. Step 4: Removed the trim tab and shook and rotated rudder until the rivet tail and drill debris dropped out of the structure. Step 5: Deburred the trim tab then primed the tab and the skin underneath
Step 6: Riveted the trim tab to the rudder using the rivets called out in Figure 1.
