Brief Description: Primed main landing gear and steps
In July 2017 while at Oshkosh I got to see the new Van's RV-12 iS that is designed for the Rotax 912 iS sport fuel injected engine. Van's had made many changes to the fuselage based on customer feedback and I made the decision to switch to the iS fuselage. The new fuselage kit was picked up at Vans in December of 2017. Well after a long hiatus due to family issues and getting heat installed in the hangar this fall I am now ready to start construction of the new forward fuselage. I’m getting things organized and hope to start the build over the Christmas holiday break from work. Yesterday I cleaned then primed the main landing gear pieces and the steps with epoxy primer.
